Hinduism was created
Hinduism is practiced mostly in India and southeast Asia and 14% of the world practices it. Hinduism is a culmination of a lot of Indian religions. It believes that when you die you are reincarnated as an animal. If you live a good life you get a better animal to be. The name of the religious symbol is the Om. -

Judaism
Judaism is mostly practiced in the middle east and in the US. Only 0.2% of the world practices it. Their bible is called the Tanaka and they only believe in one powerful god that speaks through humans. Their religious symbol is the Star of David. -
500 BCE
Buddhism was created.
Buddhism is mostly found in China, southeast Asia and the islands near Australia. 7.5% of the world practices it. It is of the belief that when you die you become a new person. If you did good in the past life your social status increases and vice versa. The religious symbol is called the Lotus Flower. -

Christianity was created
Christianity is the worlds biggest religion boasting 31% of the worlds population and reaching all along the Americas, along Europe and Russia. It is believed that there is one god and that Christ was his child. It is also believed that god spoke through Christ. Its symbol is the Cross and it represents what Christ was hung on. -

Islam was created.
Islam is the second largest religion in the world claiming 21% of the world's population and is practiced mostly in Africa and the middle east. Muhammad was the first person to practice it and said he was the voice of god. Also people when they pray have to pray towards Mecca because that was the birth place of Muhammad. Its symbol is called the Crescent and the Star. -

The Christians felt threatened that the Muslims had an even amount of land in the Spanish peninsula and they started fighting to take it back. One important event was that in the towns the Christians took they deported or killed almost anyone and replaced them with Christian citizens. An important person was Ferdenad ll because after the war he sent Columbus on his journey across the sea. In the end there were 7 million deaths and the Christians won expelling lots of Muslims and Jews. -

The Crusades
The Christians wanted holy land in Jerusalem but the Muslims didn't want them to have it. An important thing that happened is that a lot of Christians got valuables that made them rich. An important individual was the Pope who led the Christians. All in all the Christians got valuables from the war and the Muslims got slaves. -

30 years war
It started because in central Europe there was a king named Ferdinand. Ferdinand was Catholic and believed all Christians should be Catholic. One big event was at the Battle of Benfield in September of 1631 the Protestant got their first big win. The major person was king Ferdinand but in the end a treaty was signed and the hostility dissipated. -

Circassian War
The start of the war was caused by Russia because they were a blooming empire. Another empire nearby however called Persia was collapsing and Russia wanted to get it but Circassia was in the way so they invaded. The reason they chose Circassia was also that it was Muslim and Russia was Christian so they didn't feel as bad about destroying them. Another reason was that Circassia had a great place along the black sea for shipping. -

One big event was the Circassian genocide where they killed or deported 1.5 million people which was 93% of their population. A big person was Tzar Nicholas who started the invasion and was the ruler of Russia. In the end Circassia stood no chance and they were annexed by Russia and 93% of their population was gone. -

The reason for this war was after WW2 the Jews needed somewhere to live. Israel was chosen but the Muslims didn't like that because it was a holy land. It took place in Israel which is in the Middle east next to Egypt. A big even was that Ariel Sharon led an invasion on Lebanon. One big person is Yasser Arafat who is the leader of the attackers. In the end they signed a treated saying peace for land but things have still been launched the most recent in 2021. -

The Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan
The reason this war happened was that a new president of Afghanistan had just taken over named Muhammad Taraki and he started to do some things that the Muslims in his country didn't like. Taraki requested help from the Soviets. They initially denied but after a while decided to invade Afghanistan to get rid of the Mujaheddin which was the group against Tariki. A big thing was the US aided the Mujahadeen and gave them good weapons which then fell into the Taliban's hands after the war. -

One big person was Muhammad Taraki because he started the conflict with his anti religious actions. In the end no one won and Osama Bin Laden took advantage of his weakened country to put the Taliban in charge and create Al Quida. -

The Syrian civil war
The problem was that in Syria there were more Sunni than Shea. Sunni and Shea are two Muslim groups. It is taking place in Syria which is in the Middle east near Egypt and Israel. A big event is that Bashar al Assad is using chemical weapons against his people. Bashar al Assad is the leader. There still has not been a result.
