On this day Letizia Ramolino had a kid wich she named Napolean. He was born in Ajaccio the capital of the isloand Corsica, it was part of France. -
Napoleon enters the millitary acadamy
At the young age of ten, he was allowed to enter French military schools for aristocrats and was sent in 1779, with his older brother Joseph, to the College of Autun in Burgundy, France. Napoleon later transferred to the College of Brienne, another French military school. -
Storming of the Bastille
The event was important to the common people of France because they finally got weapons and they were able to dispel any fear about that the king was going to take out the uprising with the foreign army. It symbolized the triumph of the common people over the tyranny of the King. -

In the Notore Dame Chathedral in Paris, France is crowned Napoleon I. He became the first Frenchman a thousand years to become the emperor. Pope Pius VII handed Napoleon the crown that he so rudly placed on his own head. -

The Continental System was the foreign policy of Napoleon of France in his struggle against Great Britain during the Napoleonic Wars. It was a response to the naval blockade of the French coasts enacted by the British government. It was a large-scale embargo against British trade. -

Napolean arrives at St. Helean
Napolean was laed to belive that he was going to go to America, but after ten weeks at sea on the HMS Northumberland he found out he was mislead. St. Helan was located 1200 miles from the closest shore and was owned by the British it was perfict because he could not escape. -
Death
Napoleon died at the age of 51 it was shocking to everyone in Euroupe. He died on the island St. Halean of stomake Cancer, the same desiease that killed his father. He had many medical examiners look over him to determine the cause of death.
