Was created by Napoleon to help fix economic recovery After France’s recession. Used to. Place money for trade bills and other government money handles. -
Concordat of 1801 (yellow)
An agreement between Napoleon and Pope Pius VII stating the status of the current Catholic Church. This is still in effect today. -
Consul for Life (red)
Napoleon named himself Consul of life to show that he was going to stick around in France to help them grain power. Also, it doesn’t make him the only defined ruler, which would go against what France had their revolution for. -
Napoleonic Code (Green)
It was the Civil code of the French, Made the men the main person of the family and reduced women’s rights. -
Declared Self Emperor (green)
Napoleon declared himself emperor of France. During the ceremony he would not let the pope crown him, placing the crown on his own head. -
Battle of Trafalgar (red)
The naval engagement against the British and French during the war of the Third Coalition. Resolved in Britain becoming the largest sea power in the world. -
Abolished Holy Roman Empire (green)
Napoleon abolished the once huge and powerful Holy Roman Empire ending a thousand years of wars and arguments. -
Continental System (red)
It was the blockade designed by Napoleon to paralyze Great Britain through the destruction of British goods and trade. -
Resistance in Spain (yellow)
Napoleon sent reinforcements into Portugal and Spain. IN response the Spanish attacked the French soldiers and raided the supply trains. -
Invasion of Russia (red)
Napoleon and his Grande Armee entered Russia in the cold. The Russians were read and kept making the army travel into the country until they had to turn back and retreat. -
Battle of Nations at Leipzig (red)
The battle between the French and the lies of many other countries trying to take down Napoleon, in the end the French fell. -
Abdiction (red)
Napoleon was stepping down, and got banded to Elba, signaling the end of France’s domain over Europe. -
Hundred Days (green)
Marked the period of Napoleon’s return from exile, the war of the seventh coalition had begun. -
Waterloo (red)
Napoleon was defeated for the final time. He was exiled yet again to St. Helena where he died later on there.
