He was born in 1769 in Corsica; an Italian colony conquered by France. -
Early years
Even though his father came from minor nobility they wasn't rich, he won a scholar ship in a military school thanks to his talent. -
The Fall of The Bastille
The civil conflict in France, was a bloody event, it mark the beginning of the French Revolution. -
Military success
Napoleon grew very quickly in military ranks, as a general he won lots of battles mainly in Egypt. -
The Rise of Napoleon
When the directory was threatened to prevent rebels to control France they assigned Napoleon the first council. -
Expansion
During his command France started invading Europe and Northern Africa, starting with Spain and Morocco, this made his empire one of the most powerful of the world. -
Arrival to Power
He call his self emperor Napoleon I, after the directory named him first council. -
Invading Russia
Napoleon try to invade Russia and failed, he lost most of his army, he was sent to the Elba island. -
Soldiers To The Rescue
Thanks to the Napoleon´s army, he got rescued by them and return to France to became the new leader. -
100 Days
He lasted a 100 days as a leader, the British empire defeated him and he was sent to the St. Helena island were he died of colon cancer. -
