I was born in Bronx, New York. -
Kindergarten Adventure
I started Kindergarten in New York. Spanish was spoke at home and English at school. Codeswitching was a must, my mom did not speak English and my dad spoke a little, I talked in English to my brother and sister. -
Moving to Puerto Rico
My family moved to live in Puerto Rico. I started to study in Juan Zamora Elementary school. I knew Spanish, but the environment was different for me, everything was taught in Spanish, less the English class, the opposite of US. Codeswitching was a must to handle Spanish now. -

Junior High School
These years where my intermediate levels here in Puerto
Rico, in Coleen Vazquez in Naranjito. Good memories I have from there, represented eighth grade on Spelling Bee Contest. -

High School
I studied my High School years in Francisco Morales High School. I had a couple of friends that we interacted in English, but not that much. -
Started College
I started at Interamerican University at Barranquitas.
I love it, I was taking my advanced classes in English and Spanish. I was improving more my English. -
Teaching Experience
I started to work in the Department of Education in PR. I started with levels of first to third grade, which the students are loving this other language. Wonderful experience, up to the present. -
Finished my MA
I finished my MA in English Curriculum in Caribbean University. A gorgeous experience, going back to study and interacting with English teachers from various towns from PR. -
First Teaching Experience as Bilingual Teacher
I started this year as a Kindergarten Bilingual Teacher. A wonderful and challenging experience. -
Studying Bilingual Certification
I started studying my biingual certification at Sagrado Corazon University. My goal is to finish this challenging expeirence.
