WW1 Begins!
World war 1 begins by Germany invading Belgium. -
Germans begin to fire large amounts of gas at allied powers
Germany is the first to use large amounts of gas in warfare. -
Lusitania sinks!
The great ship by the name of The Lusitania was sunk by a German submarine. 1,128 people were killed and 128 of those people were Americans. -
The Germans limit there amount of submarines.
Due to the sinking of the Lusitania German decides to limit there amount of submarines. Germany does this to prevent from the United States from entering the War. -
The battle of Verdun has begun between France and Germany.
The battle took a while to end. Later in that year in the month of December the battle has ended leaving France with the victory. -
The United States enter the war!
The United States decides to enter the war. They enter the war declaring war on Russia. 5 American merchant ships were sunk. -
Russians and Central powers.
The Russians finally agree peace with the Central Powers and they leave the war. -
President Woodrow issues the "Fourteen points"
President Woodrow issues the "Fourteen points" for peace and for the war to come to an end. -
Germany agrees to an armistice.
Germany's fight finally comes to an end as well as the fighting at 11 am on the 11th day of the 11th month. -
The treaty of Versallies
The treaty of Versailles was signed by Germany and WW1 finally comes to an end.
