My Traditional and New Media Exposure Timeline

Television

2008

I was exposed in television since I was just a little kid but I was five years old when I became aware of it. This is where I watch my favorite cartoons and my favorite kid shows.

Radio

2009

I was first exposed in radio when I was in grade one. I remember my teacher used to bring radio in our class. She likes likes listening to music that is why she always brings radio in our class.

Newspaper

2011

I was first exposed in newspaper when I was grade three. It was our assignment to bring newspaper. That was the first time I read what is in the newspaper.

Magazines

2011

The first time I have seen the magazine was also in grade three. It was also our assignment to bring magazines as part of our activity. We have a lot of magazines in our house but I don't check them.

YouTube

2011

I was also in grade three when I first watch a YouTube video. I remember seeing my cousins watch different videos in YouTube so I tried it myself and that's when I first watch a YouTube video.

Keypad Cellphone

2012

It was year 2012 when I first used a keypad cellphone. I am so curious because I saw my cousins using it so I borrowed it from them and used it.

Computer

2012

I was a kid when we first had a computer. I never got to use it at first because they always used it and I never l got the time. But I was able to use it when I first played my computer game.

Facebook

2013

I was grade five when I first created my Facebook account. I was so mad because they did not allow to make an account but I insist so they let me do it. I used it in playing games because I am still a kid then.

Social Media

2018

I was fully aware of different social media when I was in high school. That is when I started using Facebook, YouTube, and other social media. Social media has really been a part of my of my everyday life since knowing it.
