World Cup
June 12- Starting watching the FIFA World Cup, it was the opening ceremony. The team that I was cheering for was Germany. Germany then also won the World Cup and I was really happy that they won. My mom and I were cheering for Germany, and my brother and uncle were cheering for Brazil -
Award Ceremony
June 27th- On June 27th, there was an end of year of year award ceremony and I had managed to win a few awards with the company of my brother who also won awards. -
Suprise Birthday Party
June 28th- My family was invited by Aayush’s family to go to his sister’s surprise birthday party, there was some people from our school and a lot of family and friends. We all had a good time. -
Canada Day
July 1st- Canada day went with my aunt and my family. My aunt came from Canada three weeks before. She had not been in Canada a long time so we decided to take her with us to watch the fireworks, with us. -
Basketball court
July 8th- we built a concrete basketball court in our backyard. We had put all the different layers and stones in it and then we had my dad’s friends to put the cement on it and had to wait until it was ready to play on. -
World Cup Ends
July 13th- the last day of the FIFA World Cup and I was happy that Germany had concluded with a world cup and that they had defeated Argentina and had done a great job. -
Trip to Kenora
July 31st- we went to Kenora on Thursday, July 31st. My dad drove us there and we looked at the different boats, and there was a concert going there. There we ate some ice cream and went and sat down near the water. After we went to a restaurant and ate some food and came back the day after. -
Trip to Gimli
August 8th-on this day we went on a trip to Gimli, we drove there, and it was a really sunny day. When we arrived in Gimli it was so crowded that it was hard to drive the car through the people crossing on a stop sign. We were delighted to find a parking spot and went the beach and walked through it. Then when we were hungry and ate from food trucks and then we took pictures and returned home. -
Tea Story café
August 10th- on this day we got to go to tea story café because my mom thought that Aayush, Devyansh, Sandeep, and I did a good job in volunteering in Folkarama so she got us a treat at tea story. We got to drink bubble tea there, it was really fun. -
Indian Pavillion
August 10th- On this day (a Sunday) I started to volunteer at the Indian Pavilion. This was for a week, and we started the first day by collecting dishes and cleaning them. Then on from the second day to the last day we had the new job in the food department to put food in people’s dishes. I worked at a lot of different stations like the Gulab Jamun, Rice, Salad, Aloo, butter chicken, and the naans.
