I did not like reading Huckleberry Finn in school. Every year when I was in school, slavery was taught and I was so burned out from reading the same content in school every year. At this time, my taste for reading started to explode. I started becoming aware of different genres of books such as mysteries or documentaries.

Martin Luther King is a great activist but my favorite is Malcolm X. I loved reading about Malcolm X because he was not afraid of anything or correcting his mistakes. Great man!

My memories of reading are fun memories and excitement. I have always loved to read since I was a child.
