Summer Reading- A Mango Shaped Space
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. Mia, was a girl with synthesia who associated colors with numbers, letters, shapes etc., The situations are very relatable and the characters are each very relatable. The cat, Mango was her pet cat who got sick, which was something very difficult for Mia to get used to. This book was funny, relatable, with funny and simple aspects that made it interesting and made you want to read it more.

I give this out 5 out of 5 stars. The two main characters Brian and Juli are next door neighbors, and she is in love with Brian, but Brian does not feel the same way back. It is interesting since you can see both Brian's and Juli's point of view and see how they think differently about the same situation.

  • Marking Period 3- HP and The Sorcer's Stone

Marking Period 3- HP and The Sorcer's Stone
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. This was my first time reading a real fantasy fiction novel, being I thought I never would have liked these types of books I always avoided them. But, this book is amazing! Harry Potter, is a boy who goes to the wizarding school of Hogwarts, but he has a larger story. His parents died since Voldemort killed him, he then tries killing Harry, failed, but left Harry with a scar. Harry now sees Voldemort throughout his life, and soon comes face to face with him.
  • The Giver

    The Giver
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. It was different from normal types of novels. Jonas, lives in a world where you can not decide anything for yourself. He does not have climate, emotion, or color. But they are oblivious to what they don't have. When Jonas becomes Receiver of Memory, and sees thinks he never has seen such as, pain, love, family, and happiness. This is when he decides to go against everything he has been taught, and give the community everything he has seen.

Marking Period 4- HP and The Goblet of Fire
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. Harry was chosen to compete in a competition in which he was not supposed to be in, but the goblet chose him. He is then forced to complete three challenges, but the last one, he is face to face with Voldemort with a human body. Harry then escapes after dueling with him. When he comes back to Hogwarts however, nobody believes that he saw Voldemort.
  • Self Assessment

    Self Assessment
I have grown since now I read all types of genres of all different lengths, and am not just suck to one certain topic/genre.As a thinker, I find that I am not as narrow-minded and selective about things being introduced to all the new things.I also find things more interesting and amusing.A goal I have for myself next year is to read more mature books, and things that are more fantasy. Also, to read more book series rather than choosing random books.Lastly, I want to read more and become faster.
