  • Summer Reading-The Red Pyramid

    Summer Reading-The Red Pyramid
I would rate this novel 4 out of 5 stars. I chose this rating because this book was action pact. It kept me on edge and waiting to see what will happen next. I only chose 4 stars and not 5 because it had a good plot, but it kept on saying other details that were hard to remember and I would have to dig back in the story to figure out what they were saying. I recommend this book to readers that like action pact books and have a good memory.
  • Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Titans Curse

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Titans Curse
I rate this book a 5 out of 5. This book was amazing with humerus comments by the characters and action pack scenes. The plot was well very well developed and easy to remember. This was the 4 installment of the "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" book series so readers that were long time fans of the series would understand this book perfectly.
  • The Outsiders

    The Outsiders
I would rate this novel 3 out of 5 stars. I did not really like the plot because it seemed to be one mini plot after another. However some parts were funny and action packed, it did not seem like a good book I would pick up and read in the library. I recommend this book to anyone that one like a slow paced eventful read.
  • Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief

Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief
I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. This book was absolutely amazing however a little to short. The mythology mixed in with the fictional characters of Rick Riordan was perfectly made. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mythology and likes humerus books.
  • Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: The Sword of Summer

Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: The Sword of Summer
I rate this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. I really liked this book because it is not only written by my favorite author, but it includes a whole other book series of mythology I have never read or studied before (Norse Mythology). I chose a 4.5 star rating because some words in the book were contusing not to understand but to pronounce. And some of the plot details were mixed up. But other than that this book was amazing.
  • Hatchet

    Hatchet
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This was an amazing survival book. I love third/first person survival stories that have the characters creating, building, and trying to survive in unspeakable predicaments. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good survival book.
  • Eragon

    Eragon
I rate this book 4 out of 5. I liked that it was faced pace and action packed. However I found it hard it hard to stay with the story. If you are a fan of faced-paced action then you will like this book.
  • The Giver

    The Giver
I rate this book 2 out of 5 stars. I chose this rating because the book was to short and slow for me. The moments in the book where to come. Jonas, the main character, was to thoughtful and calm throughout most of the book. I do not recommend this to anyone that likes faced paced action books.
  • Self Assessment

    Self Assessment
I believe that I have grown as a stronger reader and thinker this year by a lot. Whenever I read a book I now think of the plot and what the characters think. I focus a lot more on the how and why of the book rather then just reading the book. Next year me personal goal is to read a knew book series. I may try to read something with less action then i usually do. Hopefully I will continue to grow as a reader next year.
