Summer Reading- A Mango Shaped Space
I would rate this novel 4.5 out of five stars. The protagonist of A Mango Shaped Space, follows a thirteen-year old eighth graders, Mia Winchell. Throughout the book, Mia goes to different doctors around her state of Illnois to help there grasp the idea of colors. Mia Winchell then learns that she has synesthesia, a condition as to where people are able to see colors that represent and correspond to an idea of phrase. The fact that Mia is able to see colours is what I favour in this book.

In this book, American and her competitors are narrated down to just three girls.
