I would rate the novel, " Steve Jobs: The man who thought Different " 3 out of 5 stars In the novel, Steve Jobs and his buddy, Steve Wozniak had created the Apple in Steve's parents garage. Steve jobs and Wozniak created computers, phones and any electronics he made that made both of them a legend. Despite the fact that steve jobs was adopted, he overcoming that by creating new technology. -
1st workshop novel
I would rate " The Hunger Games " 5 out of 5 stars. Katniss Everdeen, the main character, had save her sister's life by volunteering the games and having he sister life saved. without she doing that, her sister will die in the the games. Will Katniss survive in the games? -
The Outsiders
I'll give this book 4.5 out 5 stars. This book was about Ponyboy, the main character, who is a part of group called the greasers. This group is know as a poor, have greasy hair, popular in a bad way, and etc. Another group, the Socs, are the exact opposite of the greasers. These two groups had some harsh time, but the society will stay label those two groups the same. -
2nd Workshop Novel
I rate the novel, "Nerds" 3 out 5 stars. This novel is about of a group of nerds named Matilda Choi ( Wheezer ), Ruby Peet ( Pufferfish ), Jackson Jones ( Braceface ), Julio Escala ( Flinch ) and Duncan Dewey ( Gluestick ) are trying to stop all evil professors from taking over the world. But one professors build a snow globe machine which will the world's weather will be only snow forever. But the Nerds Stop the professor and save the world from destruction. -
Literature Circle Novel
I would rate the Lit. Circle Novel " The Lost Hero " 5 out 5 stars.
A group of teenagers Jason, Piper, and Leo are trying to save Piper's dad and a goddess , Juno from a Monster called enchiladas. Having courage does not mean you are immune to fear, but you stand up and face those fears straight on. This theme is major in The Lost Hero. -
3rd Workshop Novel
I would rate " Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets " 5 out of five stars.
Harry and Ron are trying to find the Chamber of Secrets and save Ginny. Since Hermione is Petrified from the Baslick snake, Harry and Ron has some trouble to find the Chamber of Secrets with out her help. Will they find it befor it is to late? -
The Giver
I would this book 4.5 out of 5 stars.
This book is about that there is community that only sees black white, and grey. A community with no emotions, sameness, and sees no color, but yet no war, cruelty, and violence. -
Self Assessment
I have Grown as a reader and a thinker by a lot. This grade made me read more since I can understand when I'm reading. In the past, the books that I read are not interesting. My goal next year is to read more books. More books I read, the better knowledge I can have.
