I would rate the book a 4 of 5. This book is about a teenager named Ponyboy. There are two sides of the town, the west side which is where the socs are, the east side is where the greasers are. His friend Johnny kills bob when he tries to attack johnny and the both of them runaway from the town. -

I would rate this book a 5 of 5. This book is about Sugar Mae Cole and how she used to live in a apartment next to her best friend. When the sheriff takes away tier house she is forced to live in a car with her mom and her brother. She decides to find a dog becuse it goes for a cash prize reward. -
The Hatchet
I would rate this book a 3 of 5. This book is about Brian robeson and how he gets stuck in the woods. The pilot of the plane has a heart attack and Brian has to fly the plane to safety. In the book he experiences many different events that happen. He has to survive in the Canadian wilderness in the woods. -

I would rate this book 5 of 5. This book is about a girl named Tandy Angel. She goes on a adventure to find her sister, Katherine. She goes to Paris and she meets many new faces that she has never seen. She goes to many places that she has never seen before. -
The Giver
I would rate this book a 5 of 5. This book is about a boy named Jonas and he has pale eyes, which was really rare in the community. Jonas becomes the receiver of memory and he is able to receive the memories that the giver gives him. He decides to run off with Gabriel because he doesn't like the way that everyone is living in the community without the memories -
Self assesment
I have grown this year as a reader from reading simple books to harder books. I have read diary of a wimpy kid in the beginning of the year and in the end of the year i am reading private Vegas which is a harder book. My goal is that I want to become a stronger reader and writer than this year. I want to become a better reader so i can have more vocabulary. I want to become a better writer so i can just learn and use different techniques when I am writing the essays.
