    I would rate this novel 4 out of 5 stars. In this novel, it tells a tale about a boy named Crispin that was once being hunted down but was saved by a man named Bear. They conquered the ones that hunted them down and now live in peace. The character Crispin is daring and courageous while the character Bear is joyful and caring. Overall, I liked the characters since that they are so likable.

    I would rate this novel 3.5 stars. The book is about a girl named Emily that lives with a mysterious man after her parents leave her with him while they go on a working vacation. At first the man only seems strange, but it turns out that he is a skeleton that is in pursuit for Emily and her life.
  • The Outsiders

    The Outsiders
    I would rate this novel 4.5 out of 5 stars. This story is about a young boy named Ponyboy and his friends Dally, Johny, and more. Throughout their lives, they have been separated from the Socs, who usually tease them and pick on them. They have to find a way to prove that they, the Greasers, are just as good as them. There are many moving moments in this book that got to me.

All of these characters must figure out the mystery of Sam Westing's death. Whoever correctly finds the murderer wins the prize of $2,000,000! This book has a suspenseful, mysterious atmosphere that I really like.

    I would rate this novel 5 out of 5 stars. This book is about an orphan named Hugo. His dad, who was his only guardian, perished in a fire accident. The only thing left behind by him was a strange machine that writes something. Hugo spent his life devoted to fix this machine to see what it says.

    I would rate this series 5 out of 5 stars. This series of books is about the unfortunate lives of the Baudelaire orphans, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny. They used to have a fantastic life in a mansion living with their rich parents. However, this mansion caught on fire, killing the Baudelaires' parents. An evil man named Count Olaf wants to steal the fortune of the orphans and kill them afterwards. They have to find a way to escape from the clutches of Count Olaf.

    I would rate this novel 4.5 out of 5 stars. This book is about Jonas that lives in a peaceful society. The people in this society have no idea what emotions are or what colors are so that the society is peaceful. When Jonas learns the truth about the violent but beautiful world that he never saw, he tries to escape this society to live in the real world.
