I would rate this novel 5 out of 5 stars. Mia Winchill is differrent than all the other kids at school. She has synesthesia, which means she can see words and sounds. Her world is made of color. But one day, her secret goes out, and she is find herself with other people that have synesthesia. But then, her cat, Mango, gets sickly. And one day, all she finds is a Mango shaped space. -

She made a fool of him and the Capitol, and is sparking up a rebellion in other districts. Katniss's life isn't like a rose garden, either. Both Gale and Peeta won't talk to her, and she has nightmares every night. Then, the Quater Quell. Can Katniss make it through her chaotic life? -
The Outsiders
I would rate this novel 4 out of 5 stars. In the town of Tusla Oklahoma, there are two groups. The socs: popular, rich, they have it all good on their side of town. The, there's the greasers. They're poor, a bit like hoods, but closer than the socs would ever be. The socs like to 'jump' the gresers, but one day, they go too far and a murdur is commited... -

I would rate this novel 4 out of 5 stars. The Westing Game is about Sam Westing's 16 nephews and nieces competing to win his game written in his will. Just like the 39 clues, actually, but SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT Sam's alive and four other people too, including one of his 'nephews'. -

I would rate this novel 4 out of 5 stars. Jonas is a normal boy in the community, or at least until he's 12. At the ceremony of 12, he gets assigned a job that puts him up higher than anyone in his community. Honor, power, and other such things. But the job has drawbacks too. He finally knows what pain is, what loss is, what love is, what everything is. He knows the truth. But nobody else does. -

Self Assessment
I really haven't grown in reading strenth this year. Maybe I can read books faster, but I really haven't changed much in my reading. But, my thoughts have more depth now. My goal for next year is to read my next Shakespear book. His old english is complicated and he writes in metaphors, but I think I can manage. I want to try to read Homer, too. I also want to read so quickly that I can read one full Harry Potter book in a day. I want to read more complicated and longer texts, too.
