When You Reach Me
I would rate this book as 3 out of 5. Though this book is full of heart-pulling emotions that bring you through a world of feelings. The protagonist Miranda, has a comparatively normal life until one day it takes a turn for the worst. She gets notes from the future warning her of what is to come.Should she listen to the notes as they may end in saving a life or it can end in her whole life getting wrecked. -
The Hobbit

The Outsiders
I would rate this a 4 out of 5. This book was truly exceptional and met most o f my standards though it was complex and entertaining it did not have the aspect of contradicting emotions. It made you favor the protagonist,or Ponyboy, I want a book where your favorite character is not already chosen for you. Though this book had many jokes and laughs it was good but not the greatest in my opinion. It also needed more of an emotional ending, yes there was a death involved but it needed more. -

The Westing Game
I would rate this a 2 out of 5. This book was quite frankly boring. Other than the twist that there was no murderer the book was boring. Only a few things were unexpected but most predicatable. The few twists were enjoyable and nice but others well they weren't. It's a well written book that does inflict a few emotions but not a lot so overall I do not like this book -

Giver
I rate this book a 4 out of 5. It is very enjoyable and it was a great book. It made you look at the world in a new direction. Although a few parts are demented the book is actually very good overall. And I am very interested in reading the rest of the series. -

Self assessment
I don't think that I have progressed a lot compared to last year or the year s before. Though I have lots of books and I am proud of that I have not pushed myself to the limits. I have enjoyed almost all the books I read and I cannot wait until next year for more. So overall I have done a bit of progress from the amount of books I've read but I haven't challenged myself
