  • Halo: Combat Evolved

    Halo: Combat Evolved
The first Halo wasn't the first game I played, but it was the first one to make a huge impression on me. I loved the characters, the designs, and the story and world building that was put into it. Bungie 2001, Halo: Combat Evolved, video game, Xbox, Microsoft Game Studios/Bungie

  • The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

    The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
Morrowind is the game that really solidified my love for gaming, RPG's, character creation AND the fantasy genre. I still go back to it now and enjoy it just as much as I did as a little kid. Bethesda Softworks 2002, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, video game, Xbox, Bethesda Softworks.

  • Red Dead Redemption

    Red Dead Redemption
I usually stuck to fantasy RPG's after Morrowind, but with some pushing from my brother I tried out Red Dead Redemption and instantly fell in love. The horse riding, the characters, and the world building and random events around the game made me feel really immersed in the world and I replayed the game probably 4-5 times in one year alone Rockstar Games, 2010, Red Dead Redemption, video game, Xbox, Rockstar Games.

  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Skyrim is the game that sold me on wanting to design and make my own games, and started me on modding already existing games. I loved the game and the story, but I always found I had new ideas that I wanted to see implemented into it, so I learnt about modding and taught myself how to do it Bethesda Softworks 2011, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, video game, Xbox, Bethesda Softworks.

  • Dragon Age: Origins

    Dragon Age: Origins
It was by complete chance that I played this game a few years after it was released, as it was offered to me free on Origin, but it's become one of my favourites, as has the rest of the series. I've created an embarrassing amount of fan media based on it, and to this day still regularly replay it. Bioware 2009, Dragon Age: Origins, video game, PC, Electronic Arts/Bioware

  • Overwatch

    Overwatch
I never played much FPS and was really weary of online games, but the character designs in Overwatch drew me in and I found myself really quickly falling in love with it and enjoying it a lot Blizzard Entertainment 2016, Overwatch, video game, PC, Blizzard Entertainment
