Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
When the skit originated, there was a 3rd character, Bob. "Bob" wasn't into it as "Bill" and "Ted" was, so the trio became a duo. The time machine was originally a 1969 Chevy. The script was written by hand in 4 days.
Rating: 5 stars.
C- I've always been fascinated by time machines, so the movie was very interesting to me. -

Mongol
The Mongols chose their brides based off of how flat their faces were, their narrow eyes, and strong legs was a big factor. Slavery played a role throughout the movie: Temujin was sold and put into a cage. Borte turned to prostitution & used the money to bribe the guards.

Marco Polo's map that Columbus had, had Asia extending 4,000 miles further to the east than it really does. It was 12,500 miles, but it led him to believe it was 2,500 miles.

C- I've learned about Christopher Columbus before, but there were things in the movie that I never knew until I watched. -
Oliver Twist
Charles Dickens' low point was when he was 12. His father, John Dickens, was arrested for failure to pay debt. The real Fagin was not how he was portrayed in the movie.

C- I know a lot of people who had to get taken in by someone else and their lives went completely downhill after that because they weren't being cared for or raised the right way. -
12 Years A Slave
The whole purpose of the movie is to basically how ties were back in the day for blacks, and how hard they had it.
Fact Check: If you picked less cotton than the day before, you get whipped, which can also be called getting lashed.
Rating: 5 stars.
C- Everything that was depicted in the movie was exactly what I imagined from what I read about slavery. -
