The World Trade Center was attacked by al Qaeda (Osama bin Ladin was the leader of this group) and fifteen of the nineteen were from Saudi Arabia. John O'Neill, a former deputy director of the FBI, was killed in those buildings on that day. Also a plane was hijacked and crashed into the twin towers killing 2700 people. -

Osama killed
Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan by a United States special forces military unit. The operation was ordered by President Barack Obama and carried out in the U.S. Then the U.S. forces took his body to Afghanistan for identification, then buried it at sea. -

My uncle in Germany died on July 20 2011.
