FACT CHECK: Solomon Northrup was a slave for 12 years.
CONNECTION: In our modern day Slavery no longer exists.
RATING: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐The reason i rated the movie the way i did is because i like the overall quality of picture and sound. -
Lincoln
EVENT: The Thirteenth Amendment is passed in the House. / FACT CHECK: Abraham Lincoln did, in fact, lead the fight to get the 38th Congress to pass the Thirteenth Amendment and abolish slavery.
/ CONNECTION: Thanks to Abraham Lincoln's hard work all people, in United States today, are treated equal.
RATING: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ The reason i rated the movie four stars was because, I like the overall theme, but the movie lacked in action scenes. -
Bill and Teds excellent adventure (1989)
Purpose:The purpose of the movie was to show people some of history's greatest people and their time periods.
Fact check: Abraham lincoln was a real president.
Connection: My dad used to be in a band and he used to play electric guitar.

EVENT: Sam Krichinsky arrives to America for the first time in his life.
FACT CHECK: In many states of America, fireworks are banned do to the fires that can start.
CONNECTION: We still use Fireworks and red white and blue on the Fourth of July.
RATING: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I rated the movie 3/5 because the movie was interesting at some points, but most of it was boring and lacking in action. -
The Lost Battalion
EVENT: 500 American soldiers begin the attack on the argonne forest, lead by Major Charles White Whittlesey.
FACT CHECK: The name of the last carrier pigeon was Cher Ami and they built a statue in memory of his bravery.
CONNECTION: Thanks to our technology improvement, soldiers are safer on the battlefield.
RATING: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I rated the movie 4/5 because i like the accuracy of the war, but it was too gruesome in some scenes -
The grapes of wrath 1940
EVENT: The dust bowl begins,and massive storms of dust cover up farmland destroying topsoil.
FACT CHECK:The dust clouds would actually reach up to 1000 feet tall and would catch speeds of up to 60 mph.
CONNECTION: The economy of today is way more advanced and has less chance of a collapse happening
RATING: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I rated the movie 3/5 because the movie was at some points entertaining but mostly boring. -

EVENT: Operation shingle started this date, and it was the battle of the italian campaign in Anzio.
FACT CHECK: The battle in Anzio lasted 6 months.
CONNECTION: Our fighter jets today are way more safe then the crop planes used back then in WW2

FACT CHECK: The event depicted in the movie was real and accurate, because it was brutal, this march was also known as bloody sunday.
CONNECTION: People still protest in the streets to this day.
RATING: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐: I rated the movie 5/5 because the quality was good but the movie was slow and boring in some scenes. -
Rescue Dawn
EVENT: United States Navy aviator Dieter Dengler is shot down and captured by the viet cong.
FACT CHECK: He did actually get shot down and captured on this date and many other pilots were also shot down during the war.
CONNECTION: The fighter jets we have today have less chance of getting shot down because they have a lot more technology.
RATING: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ i rated the movie 4/5 stars because the movie was slow and the whispering made it annoying. -
