people began to argue and things became very unorganized. one person thought it would be a good idea to start a form of local governance. they began to elect people into office. -

a few years later, one of the elected members thought it would be good if all the local governments met up and had a meeting to discuss what they do. -

they all gathered together and had a fairly large conference. they discussed all that they do in their states and how it helped to make things better. Everyone has good things they did to help, some were relatively the same, and others were very different. They all decided ti continue to do these meetings once a year to go over all that happens. -

Second meeting
As the year came and gone, it was time for the next conference. States began to see similarities in their ways of governing so they all threw out an idea of having a government that was for the whole country. One member of every local government would represent each state. They gave ideas on what the government would do. Ideas included security, equality, and health care. -

Steps to the formation of countries government
each state had a representative that was voted on. the representative started to go out and ask citizens of their state opinions on a government that helped the whole country, rather than small local governments. they got a good feedback and started to create different positions. -

Vice President- helps president
secretary of treasure- in charge of money
secretary of war- responsible for military affairs
secretary of state- carries out foreign policies for president
attorney general- lawyer for government and top law enforcement -

members from the local governments would campaign and try to get votes to be a part of the new government. they had to express to everyone why they would be the best for the position, and the citizens would vote. -

it was now time for the elections to begin. who ever wanted to go vote was allowed to. the citizens all lined up and casted their votes for the people they thought would be best -
