My Government Timeline

  • Migration

Me, family, friends, and many other people moved from the United States to the island of Atlantis.
  • Settlement

All of us started to settle in finding places to stay, and pitching tents temporarily until we could get more material to build. We had only bread, and it would only last for 1 month.
  • Exploration of Atlantis

We needed lots of materials to build, and to find some source of food on the island, so we set out on a journey. We found many animals that were native to Atlantis, and we also found people that lived here already. We did not know if they posed a threat or not, but we were ready.
  • The Native Conflict

We found people that already lived in Atlantis, so we tried to talk to them when things got ugly. Soon enough it was us against the natives, and we made a run back to our settlements. We decided that it would be best if we stayed together.
  • The Election

We thought it would be best if we could have one person that would do his or her best to run the settlement. We voted on one person that would be the best, and i was voted to be the leader.
  • The Attack

We decided it would be best if we left the natives alone since they tried to kill us the last time we met them. I made sure we always had someone outside watching over, and there would be shifts. Then we were attacked by the natives. Only one of our people were killed and several were injured.
  • War on Natives

Us as a group decided it would be best if we got rid of the natives permanently, so we declared war on them. We prepared, and had everything ready to fight, because the next day we were going to war.
  • The War

We attacked them early in the morning, and took over their entire base within an hour. There were none left alive, and many of our people were dead and injured.
  • The Sacred Papers

We all got back to our base, and we decided that we need to make rules, and enforce them. We decided to make watch shifts, and made sure everyone had their natural born rights which was freedom, and equality. All of us signed these papers to make them very sacred, and if they were broken there would be consequences.
  • Democracy

We all had a right to vote, and to have a chance to speak, and this was very important. The leader would eventually die and the next leader would be elected. Each leader can impose laws, and rules as long as the public agrees. The sacred papers can never be changed unless it is based upon public vote. This is how our government was formed.
