    Joe
The very first game that I remember being taught and playing was the card game Joe. My grandparents taught be how to play Joe and it was always an after dinner activity that I looked forward to every day. https://australiancardgames.com.au/jo/

    Pokemon
2010 was the first time I had ever been given my own piece of technology, for my 12th birthday my father gave me his old Game Boy Colour with the Pokemon Gold and Silver Series. This was a very important time for me because the Pokemon games that I was given were the first digital games I had ever played and they were what created my love for the Pokemon Series and video games in general. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Gold_and_Silver

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is a very important game to me for multiple reasons. The main reason is because the Call of Duty games were a large leap from Pokemon which were the only games I had played. Additionally, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was also the first game I had played with my father, so my time spent playing this game created a better relationship with my father.

  • Dark Souls

    Dark Souls
Dark Souls is important to me as it is likely one of the hardest games I've played. By the age of 15 majority of the games I had played included many of the Pokemon games and a lot of the Call of Duty series, so when I found Dark Souls it was very new to me. This game is so important to me because of how challenging it is and the problem solving skills and rational thinking that it helped teach me. https://darksouls.fandom.com/wiki/Dark_Souls

  • Bloodborne

    Bloodborne
After I had played Dark Souls and loved every minute of it, when I heard about the release of Bloodborne I couldn't hold my excitement so I got a copy on the release date.
This game is important to me because from playing Dark Souls as well as this, I learnt so many skills I hadn't really thought about. I loved how challenging the game was and how patient and critical I needed to be. https://bloodborne.fandom.com/wiki/Bloodborne

  • League of Legends

    League of Legends
League of Legends is important to me because it was the first online PvP game that I played and once I started I was addicted. Before 2017 I never played online with other people, the previous games I played had always been story based and I skipped over the online interaction if it had any. League taught me how to work as a team and it continues to teach me many different critical thinking skills. https://play.oce.leagueoflegends.com/en_AU

  • Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

    Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is important to me for almost the same reasons as Dark Souls. When I started playing Sekiro, it was the first time in a while that I had played another Challenging game of the sorts so it really made me try and remember the things I had learnt from the previous games and prove to myself that I could still play these kinds of games. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sekiro:_Shadows_Die_Twice
