Pokémon Emerald was the first handheld console game I ever played. It was what made me so invested in the show and the following Pokémon games. It was my childhood, it was what made me love playing games. I would play it past my bedtime and hide under my blanket so my mom would think I was sleeping. Clash of Clans was my favorite game on the iPad as a kid. My friends and I would create a clan and play together, we would talk about it at school and raid each others bases. Slender: The Eight Pages was my first ever horror game introduced by my step brother. The game was simple yet horrifying, I could not sleep at night after playing as a kid. Minecraft has impacted my life the most. It was the talk of the town, I created a YouTube channel because of Minecraft, I even joined a club in school called Minecraft club. LoL has also impacted my life a lot. It was the first ever MOBA I played and it brought the competitive/toxic side of me. I had spend so much time on LoL that it was part of my life, it was the go to game with friends. Now I only play it once in a while with friends. Closers is a MMORPG game that I look back to fondly. I've made online friends and played it with my highschool crush often. It was also one of the first ever MMORPG I have ever played, the feeling of putting hours into grinding the gear, as well as going to raids with a squad and planning which days the bosses are available. Valorant is a game which I hated at the beginning as I was terrible at FPS. I would be so frustrated playing with friends. Slowly I got better and enjoyed the time spend talking to random stranger through voice comms. Having VC is really entertaining, while we also get to meet the worst kind of people. Among us brought a lot of my friends together during Covid. It not only help with keeping in touch with our friends, it also taught me to analyze and persuade my friends. It was so fun gaslighting each other, nobody could trust each other. It brought different group of friends to come together to create a big lobby. Genshin Impact was released during COVID-19,making it the most invested Gacha game I have played.It was a game that I was excited about every update.The world is vibrant, the VFX is outstanding and it acts as an inspiration for me. Spider-Man really help to occupy the holidays studying abroad. It had good storytelling and a fun gameplay. Swinging across the world really is satisfying.It was also a nice change of pace in games,as I never really dabble in this sort of singleplayer games.
