Trouble: The Board Game
The board game Trouble, was a family favourite growing up. I learnt how to play when I was 4, my nan and great-grandma would sit me on their lap, prompting me to press the bubble to flip the dice, which was my favourite part of the game. Tekken 5
One of the first video games I played was Tekken 5, at age 6, was my father's favourite game to play. He'd show me how to play and what characters he liked to use, and would then let me have a go. Soon, we had two controllers so I could V.S. my dad. Pretty soon, he had to play harder to defeat me in this game. My favourite characters to play were Jin and Xiaoyu. Spyro: Shadow Legacy
This was the first video game that I owned. I got a DS for my birthday and this was my first game. I just started liking fantasy things, especially dragons so this game was a big hit. I loved that I could play as Spyro, who would go around helping out his friends, while battling against the dark creatures of the Shadow Realm. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
This game was my introduction to The Legend of Zelda series. I hadn't played many fantasy games other than Spyro, so I really enjoyed this game. I liked the graphics and unusual storyline, the music haunting and eerily portrayed the darker Twilight Realm and it's impact on Hyrule. Joe: Card Game
Joe is a card game which has been passed down through my family. From a young age I remember all the adults would sit down at the table with a drink in one hand and cards in the other as they played this game. I was 13 when I was finally allowed to play though. It's a fun and extremely competitive game, consisting of 7 rounds of runs and sets, interchanged between rounds. Dragon Age: Inquisition
Dragon Age Inquisition is one of my favourite games. I started playing when I was 16, as it was part of my first collection of PS4 games. I love the intricate and unique storytelling, the graphics, the funny interactions between characters and the beautiful sound track. I have played this game at least 5 times now. Shadow of Mordor
My favourite story of all time is Lord of the Rings, so I had to give this game a go. It is an interesting take on the fantastical world, with familiar lore, but new and exciting stories to be told. The Witcher 3
Several people had recommended this game to me, and I finally decided to play. This game is unlike any other I have played. I love how immersive the story is, and how things can happen and change based on decisions.
