My first book
While my mom was pregnant she would read to me when I was in her tummy. -
In the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit)
I came out a little early so I was in the NICU. While I was in there my mom would get a little chance to hold me. The rest of the time she would read me books while I was in my incubator. -

Whenever I would visit my grandparents they would read to me. -
Library time
My mom used to take me to story time at the library. They would read us a book and then we did an art project. -
Preschool
My mom was a literacy tutor so she practiced on me quite a bit. I went to preschool with her everyday and I had all kinds of books to choose from. -
Kindergarten
At the start of kindergarten I was one of the few kids who could read. I was very proud of that and read to other kids whenever I could. -
Harry Potter
When I was in third grade I read the whole Harry Potter series. That series inspired my love of reading even more. -
Green Eggs and Ham
While I was in fourth grade the preschool my mom worked at was in the school. For reading week I was able to go to my mom's class and read to her preschoolers. I read Green Eggs and Ham. We also made green eggs and ham which the students were able to eat.Super Fun! -
The False Prince
In fifth grade the teacher read us The False Prince. The book was so good that I ended up reading the whole series. -
Accelerated Reading Program
In our school we have the Accelerated Reading program. In Middle School you have to choose it as an elective. This program rewards us for reading, quizzing, and earning points. You can buy many different items with your points. I have earned an X Box along with other items.
