    Mussolini got together with old war veterans to create the Fascist Party Congress. The fascist party was named after "fasces" which is a word for roman power

    The treaty was signed between the warring nations of World War 1 that established an international organization and ended the war. Italy was affected negatively by the treaty and was practically ignored that the conference where the treaty was signed. Italy was also promised costal territory but was not given that in the end leaving many of its citizens angry.

    It took time from his instatement as prime minister to become dictator as he slowly took power for himself. It is generally said that the day he delivered a speech to Italian parliament is the day he became dictator. In his speech he told parliament members he had the right to supreme power.
