Many musicals and plays made their big debut in the world during this year including Good Morning Dearie at the Globe Theatre, and Little Red Riding Hood based on the fairy tale at the Manhatten Opera House. -
Knickerbocker Theatre Disaster
The collapse of the Knickerbocker Theatre: This theatre is also famously known because it collapsed due to snowfall in 1922. There was a play going on at the same time. There was no warning, the sealing just caved due to the theatre’s flat roof, and the heavy snowfall, causing the balcony to come crashing down onto those in the Orchestra seating area. This killed many of the people and injured hundreds more present in the theatre. -

Vaudeville was one of the biggest forms of enjoyment by many. -
