Immigrate to U.S.
I immigrated to the United states because potatoes were starting to not grow very well just like in 1845 during the potato famine. Wa headed towards the U.S. with a few buddies that also wanted to farm there and just get away from Ireland. -
Arrive in New York
I arrived in New York but did not have a home or a job. I was just there i had nothing at the moment. Nothing but the items that I brought. -
Found job and Home
I found a decent paying job to a wealthy family that wanted a chef. Back in Ireland i was a great chef so i chose this. They were a very nice family that provided me with housing in exchange a slightly less pay. -
Left New York to the West.
I left New York because the family that i was a chef for, started treating me bad and docked my pay for no reason, so i left. Also the whole reason i went to America was to be a farmer which i had not achieved yet. I went with the friends that i came to the US with. Patrick had a wagon train and a horse, and Matthew had a horse also. -
Arrive in Oklahoma
We finally thingmade it to the town in Oklahome where I got a horse which i needed for the race for land. I signed up for everything i needed for the race that was going to happen for land. I got my flag, got my horse and found a small place to stay until the race. -
Race for Land
We have been waiting for a few months to get our land and everyone is ready. I got the fastest horse I could find and I was ready. There was only one problem that we faced during the race, it started to rain. I found a great spot of land and when I got there I stuck my flag in the ground as fast as I could. I got the land I wanted and it was perfect for farming. I finally acheived what I wanted in the US.
