At 12:30pm hikers and tourists were exploring the mountain/volcano and then everybody started hearing explosions coming from the volcano.

People started evacuating their homes near the volcano but some people refused to leave.

At 3:00pm, a bunch of geologists make the decision to spend the day observing the volcano while being on it.

Starting at 8:00am, people start lining up to come see the volcano while they don't care anymore of what the danger could cause.

At 5:30am, a timber company has made a decision to move their company closer to the volcano.

At 8:30am, a category 5.1 earthquake has begun and startles tourists and campers to evacuate.

25 seconds after the earthquake, Mt. St. Helen's starts erupting.

At 8:33am, "holes" on the side of the volcano start ripping open and gas and ashes start coming out.

At 8:35am, lava starts spitting out, the ice caps of the mountain cause flooding and send over a million gallons of water flooded the land.

At 12:00pm, the volcano has erupted and it begins spreading ash 200 miles away.

At 2:05, helicopter rescuers start searching for survivors and they find multiple people in forests covered in blood and ash.

At 2:30pm, after the rescuers save the people in the forests, they are all taken to the nearest hospital that has not been destroyed and mostly everyone is treated with 2-3 degree burns.

At 5:30pm, everybody comes on the highway and starts watching the volcano.

At 5:30am, pilots are still searching for anybody who have may made it out alive.

At 3:00pm, Jimmy Carter, our president, flies over the volcano to see what had happened.

Mt.St.Helens erupts again but sends the ash 8 miles up instead of 200 miles out.

They planted the first tree on the explosive sight. They planted it as a new beginning.

On this day, Mt.St.Helens became a National Park and was open to anybody because scientist predicted that it will not erupt again. If it did, it was going to be a long time from now.
