  • TennisCourt Oath

    After being locked out of the estates general meeting the third estate political members break into a nearby tennis court and use that as a meeting room instead. Inside they decided that they wouldn't leave the tennis court until they had written up a new constitution for France.
  • Storming of the bastille

    After makeing the tennis court oath the civilians feared that Louis would attempt to stop them by sending souldure (they were right) so they tried to find ways to arm themselves. to do so they did two things: raid souldure barricks for guns and storm the bastille to get gunpowerder. During the raid they killed mutipul guards and a captin. this is considered the first violent act of the revolution.
  • Declarationof Rights of Man

    After being ingnored by the other estates and the king the third estate (peasents) take matters into their own hands. They write the declaration of rights of man as an outline for their new government system
  • Lous calls the Estates-General

    After getting into large debt because of aid to the American revolutionary war King Louis calls the estates together to find a way to get more money. this essentally ends in the tennis court oath and the beggining of the revolution

  • September Massacers

    This was a sad and meaningless event that was baicly just a slaughter. Afer being prevoked by Jean-paul Marat's newspaper where he expressed his paranoia about the massive amount of prisoners the revolutionist had taken captive breaking free and takeing, over a mob of terrified revolutionist broke into the prisons and killed everyone they could find. This surved no purpose and killed around 1,200 men, women, and children.
  • Robespierre comes to power

    Robespierre was a stong public speaker during the revolution but after the people become fearful of the war,royalist, and anti-revolutionists (in an unneeded killing spree) Robespierre took power as a leader and started the great fear. (amung other fears) Basicly he made everyone think everyone was trying to oppose the revolution and a lot of people were arrested for nothing and killed includeing his old friends
  • The Terror

    The terror was a giant ongoing massacer that targeted "anti-revolutionist. It was started and ended by Robespierre comeing to power and then being swalled by his own peoples terror. More spacificly the terror executed innocent people who"s only crime was complaining about the bread lines (or someting similar) useing the guillotine.
  • Roespierre Killed

    Robespierre was a vary influental speaker thoughout the revolution. however he also thought he was needed to lead it but this proved to be his undoing. He started the terror in order to keep France's revolution going. however this backfired and his people and court became afaid that he was hindering the revolution so he was arrested. After a suicid attempt he was executedat on his own guillotine.
