Graduating college helped form my identity in many ways. I was about to move to Chicago and live "truly" on my own. After 4 years of being a college student, I would attempt to utilize the knowledge and skills of psychology into a career. -

Getting married influenced my identity dramatically. Although my personal values, beliefs and behaviors were still relatively consistent from when I was unmarried, I now had to take into account my wife and her values and beliefs. Looking into the future, I knew that most of life's decisions would be based off "we", not just "me." -
