WWII ends
Im choosing WWII as one of my events because it was a very bloody and gruesome war that deserves recognition.
World War II was fought for 6 years and 1 day.
The Second World War was started by Germany in an unprovoked attack on Poland. One of the many effects it had was that Germany was totally defeated, and the Nazi regime brought down.
