The revoltion in Russia starts. The Tsar is removed from power. -
The Willowcane Property
Jinx starts to sell the elixir mixed with whiskey because it cures the sickness going around.The immigrants get togther at Shady's place and decied to buy the Willowcane property so that they might have an upper hand in the working mines. -
Meet Jinx
Jinx a young boy,running from his past, jumps off a train and lands in the small town of Manifest. After conning Ned Gillen into trading a fish for a bad smelling perfume the boys witness a Ku Klux Klan meeting. -

Fireworks
Jinx"borrows" a firework box so he can figure out to make them. Ned and Jinx sell the fireworks and make $50. -
Good bye
Ned leaves Manifest to join the army. He used his spit of $25 to pay off the recrutment officer so he could join. -
Elixir
Jinx and Shady switch a few bottles of elixer for whisky,so the sheriff wont catch Shady with illegal drinks. Sheriff Dean starts looking for a young boy who took part in the killing of a man. Finaly thr German Fraternal Hall is set to flames but the Ku Klux Klan. -
One for a Win
Although they do not have enough money the town is able to buy the willowcane property because Lester Burton buy a spring instead and the town has enough money off the taxes. -
Dear Uncle Finn
Jinx's conartiest uncle catches up to him just as the past does. After a slick escape Jinx finds out that Ned died in battle and leaves Manifest for good. -

World War One ends. -

Abilene Tucker arives in Manifest for the summer. -
First and last day of school
Abilene gets a writing asmint from Sister Redenpta. She finds Jinx's keeps sakes and letter from Jinx. She shares the letters with her new friends,cosions, Ruthanne and Lettie. -
The Rattler
The girls go out and a note on a tree that says"Leave Well Enough Alne." So they think the Rattler is a spy that was from one of Ned's letters and that he is still around. They start their spy hunt. -
Working for a dviner
After breaking a pot of Miss. Sadie's,while tryinng to get back her compausse, Abilene must work for her to repay her dept. -
Daddy
Abilene is starting to feel the pull of the road. She wishes she can go off to find her daddy. -
AL All-Star
Joe McCarthy is named to manage AL All-Star 1936. -
'Ode to the Rattler
To honner Ned the girls decied to hold there own 4th of July celelration. The girls also go to the school and search for 'Ode to the Rattler, a poem Stucky Cybulskis wrote as a senior. -
Old Times
A lot more people come to Shady's serivce then usal. At the serivce they talk about way back in the day and it helps Abliene get an idea for how to find the Rattler -

Basketball becomes an offical sport in the olympics. -

After Miss. Sadie finshes her last stoire about Jinx and Ned, Abliene knows her work is done and goes to search for the rest of the answers with Shady. -

Abliene and Giddeon are reunited. They decied to live in Manifest and Abliene takes over Hattie Mae's part in the paper
