Monster Wars Rebranded to Monster Jam
in 1997 Monster Wars was officially rebranded to “Monster Jam” with a special broadcast airing on ESPN 2 under the name “Inside Monster Jam” one year later in 1998 pace motorsports would make with major deals one of them becoming a part of TNN’s Motor Madness, and also naming rights to one of the BIGGEST NAMES IN THE HISTORY OF MONSTER TRUCKS Grave Digger -
Naming rights sold to SFX
two years later in 2000 monster jam would get bought out by sfx. Then not a lot happened under sfx if I remember correctly. Except toys, a deal with wcw that only lasted a year and the debut of two trucks that would become iconic with monster jam, blue thunder and el toro loco. -
Naming Rights sold to Clear Channel
The two year trend continued with sfx selling the gaining rights to clear channel in 2002 and the first monster jam show outside of North America takes place in baguette land Paris France. -
Monster Jam finds a Solid broadcast station
In 2003 Monster Jam would move to Speed Channel for their main broadcast partner -
Clear Channel to Live Nation
2006 would be the year where clear channel would sell the naming rights to Live Nation and kinda like sfx nothing of interest would happen except for the debut of some trucks and tv recordings be recorded in high definition -
Monster Jam comes to current owners Feld Motor Sports
In 2009 Monster jam would be sold to the now current owners of the naming rights Feld Motorsports with so much happening under feld that it would require another timeline
