    in 1997 Monster Wars was officially rebranded to “Monster Jam” with a special broadcast airing on ESPN 2 under the name “Inside Monster Jam” one year later in 1998 pace motorsports would make with major deals one of them becoming a part of TNN’s Motor Madness, and also naming rights to one of the BIGGEST NAMES IN THE HISTORY OF MONSTER TRUCKS Grave Digger

    two years later in 2000 monster jam would get bought out by sfx. Then not a lot happened under sfx if I remember correctly. Except toys, a deal with wcw that only lasted a year and the debut of two trucks that would become iconic with monster jam, blue thunder and el toro loco.
