Second Continental Congress

America became Independent from Britian.

Olive Branch Petition

Jul 5, 1775

This petition confirmed America's loyalty to Great Britian. The King was not able to create anymore trouble.

Prohibitory Act

Dec 22, 1775

Parliment passed this act, to stop all trades regarding American Ports, and all trades within the colonies, and the world. The reason why, is because the colonies were already rebelling against all the new taxes, so they were upset.

Declaration of Independence

The Declaration of Independence was a written agreement for America to seperate themselves from Great Britian, and be able to live Independently without the rule of Great Britian.
