IDEA Full Funding Act
Without certain funds for things schools need like supplies, and classroom materials it becomes hard to manage staff and services/electronics students need to be successful in school. With this act in place there is a bigger support system for increased funding which is extremely important to ensure that schools can provide free public education in the least-most restrictive environment. -

New York City’s Inclusive Classroom Pilot Program
New York City has launched a new category within the education department, "dubbed the 'Division of Inclusive and Accessible Learning,' or DIAL. What this does is oversees special education and multilingual learners in order to expand and create more inclusive classroom models and a stronger support system for these students. -
Council for Exceptional Children (CEC)
The aim of this organization is to lead the way to the advancement of education for children with disabilities as well as those who are gifted. They have implemented professional development programs in 2024 and have done a lot of research in order to help other educators implement their own strategies. -
Georgia’s Inclusive Education Policy Update
Georgia has implemented new policies on analytical work of inclusive education policies. "The meetings highlighted Georgia’s strides in inclusive education reforms and emphasized collaboration in addressing challenges. American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) Inclusivity Initiative
What this program aims to implement is more structure and skills to be taught to teachers in order to promote inclusivity more. The effort is also made in order to prepare future educators to successfully include children with disabilities in regular education settings. -
Oregon's Inclusive Curriculum Bill
The passing of this bill meant that school curriculum in Oregon will now be including more comprehensive content on topics such as historically marginalized groups. This bill also creates a more inclusive curriculum for students and does implement new ways of teaching staff members on how to be a better support system for their students.

The safety act stands for "Support Academic Futures and Educators for Today’s Youth Act," what this act stands for is to ensure that all students have equal access to safe and secure learning environments. It also protects the student from any personal information being spread by anyone without consent.

Texas Schools' Inclusive Classroom Expansion
For this event, Texas began a program which aimed at creating inclusive classrooms throughout the state itself. This program provides subsidies to schools to improve support services and staff training, with the goal of increasing the integration of students with disabilities into general education settings. -
The Florida Council for Exceptional Children
What the FCEC aims to do during this conference is showcasing that we must acknowledge the power of a collective group effort to establish a more inclusive education environment. Some points that will be spoken about at this conference are:

Rosewood Inclusive Learning Academy Open
This school was designed to be a model for inclusive school environments. What the academy will be partaking in is featuring curriculums that can integrate students that have disabilities into the general classrooms, making sure that all students are successful and have the ability to thrive where they are learning.
