    New York City has launched a new category within the education department, "dubbed the 'Division of Inclusive and Accessible Learning,' or DIAL. What this does is oversees special education and multilingual learners in order to expand and create more inclusive classroom models and a stronger support system for these students.

    The aim of this organization is to lead the way to the advancement of education for children with disabilities as well as those who are gifted. They have implemented professional development programs in 2024 and have done a lot of research in order to help other educators implement their own strategies.
