    America supported the anti-communists movements and leaders of Serbia. The United States imposed sanctions and spearheaded a NATO bombing campaign against Yugoslavia.

    A truck bomb detonated below the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. Killed six people and injured over a thousand; terrorist attack.
  • Oklahoma City Bombing

    Oklahoma City Bombing
    A domestic terrorist truck bombing on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City. Was the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil before 9/11.
  • Columbine

    Columbine
    Columbine was a high school shooting in Jefferson County, Colorado. Two senior students attacked the school with an intricate plan that included homemade bombs used for various purposes. In the end 12 students and one teacher were killed while 24 people were injured.
  • The attack on the USS Cole

    The attack on the USS Cole
    A terrorist attack against the United States Navy guided-missile destroyer USS Cole. Al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for this attack, killing 17 sailors and injuring 39.

    The terrorist group al-Qaeda sent out four attacks on the United States, the most well known being the attack on the twin towers in New York City. A total of 2,996 people were killed and 6,000 others were injured.

    Was triggered by the 9/11 attacks on America. This event led to a 13 year with Afghanistan that was mostly fought against the extremist group, the Taliban.

    The war was mostly started in the basis of Saddam Hussein's arrest. Saddam Hussein was eventually found and hanged for his crimes in 2006

    It was a series of terrorist attacks that were claimed by extremist group ISIS. From all of these attacks, a total of 130 people were killed and 413 were injured.
