    On Christmas eve, they killed President Amin and brought in their own, President Babrak Karmal. Over the next nine or ten years the Soviet Army battled with the Mujahideen. It was a very difficult battle and the Soviets learned their lesson.

    Babrak was replaced by the Soviet Union because of policy failures and the stalemate that happened after the Soviet Intervention. He was exiled to Moscow and allowed to return in 1991.

    Massoud, and Afghan leader, was killed during a suicide bomb attack by two Arabs who acted as if they were French news reporters.

    The terrorist hiijacked four planes. Two of them were flown into the Twin towers purposely and cause them to catch fire and collapse. The third one destroyed part of the Pentagon and the last one crashed in Pennsylvania.
