    On Octover 18, 1980, a Mi- 24 assult helicopter was shot down and destroyed because of the Soviets.

    The soviets try an operation called Panjshir II to try to eliminate forces during the Panjshir I.

  • Wardak Province

    Beginning on November 22, the Soviets began to sweep many places. Some of these places included the Wardak province and the Logar valley.

  • Mi- 24 Helicopter Ccntinued

    Just like in October this same year, on December 12, 1980, another Mi- 24 helicopter was shut down by the Soviet Union.
