Pulse-Code Modulation

YEAR OF CREATION: 1937 ==== Pulse-code modulation is used to digitally display sampled analog signals. It is the standard form of digital audio in things such as computers, compact discs, digital telephony, and more. The amplitude of the analog signal is sampled at a regular pace inn uniform intervals in a PCM stream. Each sample is quantized to the nearest value, within a range of digital steps. -
Ball Point Pen

YEAR OF CREATION: Launched in 1888, but successfully made in 1938 ==== The first patent for a ballpoint pen was issued on October 30, 1888 to John Loud. However, due to the lack of commercial viability, the ball point pen's potential went unnoticed. In 1938, László Bíró filed a British patent on a new ballpoint pen on June 15th. The creation of ballpoint pens has influenced art and graphic design, and it has spawned an artwork genre. -
Frequency Modulation

Color Television

YEAR OF CREATION: 1940 ==== Color television is a television transmission technology that inclueds information on the color of the picture, so the video image can be displayed in color on the television set. Color broadcast can be created by broadcasting three monochrome images, one each in the three colors of red, blue, and green. CBS's "The Patti Page Show" was the first television show that was produced in color, despite high production costs. -

Z3 Computer

YEAR OF CREATION: 1941 ==== The Z3 Computer was the world's first working programmable and fully automatic digital computer. The Z3 Computer was completed in Berlin in 1941. Unfortunately, the original Z3 Computer was destroyed in 1943 due to an allied bombardment of Berlin. However, in the 1960s, a working replica was built by Zuse KG, and it is currently on display at Deutscher Museum in Munich. -
