Minister Of Education, Senator Charles Maynard, discusses Brain Trust and Accomodations for Successful Students
The Minister of Education at the time, Senator Charles Maynard noted that a program had to be set in place for the training of unqualified teachers in the Education system. Known as the "Brain Trust" initiative, teachers were now exposed to many training exercises and certifications which were expected to be beneficial to the students. $4 Million dollar Enhancement Project Implemented in Dominica
US$4 million Education Enhancement Project launched
Funded by the Caribbean Development Bank, the Government obtained $4 Million which had been used to fund the Mathematics training of several teachers which helped to aid the pedagogy of the sector by 2013. This evidently helped in the improvement of results as well. -
