I began my formal education when I was five years old. I began to take English as a requirement. -
Middle and High School
I continued taken English courses but more advance because in this stage I had to talk, read, write and comprehend english. -
University of Puerto Rico
When I was a college student my experience was difficult. I had to master the English language. The majority of the courses use texts writen in English. -
Teacher
The school I started working at, adopted a pilot bilingual program. I worked as a first grade bilingual teacher. -
Trip to Orlando, Florida
This trip was a wonderful experience because I had the opportunity to speak and practice the language. -
Bilingual School Teacher
The school where I work at present has a bilingual program titled BEC-21. I am a second grade teacher in this program. -
Bilingual Certificate
I started taking courses at the Sagrado Corazon University to become a certified bilingual teacher. So far the experience has been very enriching. I hope to continue my studies so that I can offer my students the experience of becoming bilingual.
