In the 1500s many foriegn countries had many wars.
the tactical approach did not border much more than a hit and run tactic based on sharing hits to each army. -

The knights and warriors of a kingdom would use heavy armor and ride armored horses in frontal assault on an enemy army. -

Tactics took a very tactical turn when the theory of traps and ambushes were introduced. -

The art of war dates farther back then 1772 but it was translated into french around 1772. -

This war was the epitomy of gurilla tactics as it was dependant upon america winning through ambushing, and sinister tactics. -

The U.S military adopted the fire and manuever tactic by making sure that if the enemy fired at them that they would miss. -
Biological Warfare.
In the 21st century many armys realized that if you could not use bullets then you can kill the enemy biologically.
