Christianity began as a small number of jews. Christianity was seen a threat because Christians refused to worship the Roman Gods and Emperor. This led to the persecution of many Christians. When Roman Emperor Constantine ruled, he legalized Christianity over the Empire. In the 5th century, the Roman Empire started declining. Germanic tribes conquered the city of Rome which started the Dark Ages period.

Middle Age Castles
Life in castles was either very difficult and required a lot of work, or easy and boring. Castles were usually dark because they were lit by candlelight. Most of the time people didn't even get a room to themselves because the castles were built strictly for military advantage rather than comfort. -

Siege Weapons
A new form of warfare formed called siege warfare. The weapons used varied because attackers and defenders had to use different tools to accomplish their tasks. Attackers used mostly swords, battering rams, trebuchets, and some crossbows. The battering ram was used for smashing through doors in castles so that the army could advance and conquer the people inside. Trebuchets were essential for launching fire and rocks into the enemy castle and they could reach up to 300 yards away.
