The battle of tours took place in the city of Tours in the tenth of october on the year 732 AD. A man named Charles Martel wanted to prevent the muslims from invading the Frankish Empire. The fourth crusade (the sack of Constantinople)
In november of 1199 he fourth crusade was called by Pope Inncoent the second and was taken by french Knights. The crusadres mission was to capture constantinople and put Alexius IV on the throne. The black death
The black death started in the year 1348 and came from Asia. There was no medical knowledge which lead to it killing a lot of people. It is thought to be carried by fleas in rats, but noone knew this at the time. The doctors used a long black robe and a bird-like mask that was stuffed with herbs that were thought to save them from the diseas.
