Marco Polo

He leaves on his famous journey to explore Asia, traveled from Europe to Asia from 1271 to 1295. He wrote Il Milione, known in English as The Travels of Marco Polo.

New Inventions

In that age they create:the compass, the windmills, the spectacles and the spinning wheel. And also to in this age they create new universities in Europe.

King John of England

He sigh the Magna carta. This document gave people some rights and said that the king was not above the law.

The Mongol Empire is founded by Genghis Khan.The first of the disasters came from central Asia in the form of the Mongol invasion. The Mongols were nomadic hunters and pastoralists who lived in a cold, dry region northwest of China.

Richard I

Richard I, Richard the Lionheart, becomes King of England.

Start of the First Crusade

William of Normandy

William of Normandy, a French Duke, conquers England in the Battle of Hastings. He became King of England and changed the country forever. "Also Claiming his right to the English throne, William, duke of Normandy, invades England at Pevensey on Britain’s southeast coast."-(History, 2011)

Alfred the Great

896 BCE

Alfred the Great that was King of England, turns back the Viking invaders.

Vikings Invasions

835 BCE

But in that period Charlemagne promotes science and education, that it was education for all also the womans. And the schools are founded in monasteries.

How it Begin?
Islam begins with the prophet Muhammad, It start in the Mecca, Saudi Arabia in the 7 century. When Muhammad was 40 years old in AD 160, he claimed to be receiving messages from GOD that were later recorded into the Islamic Holy book- The Qur‘an.

Muhammad would share his visions and revelations with other people and try to teach them about Allah and the belief in one god.

The clovis were a barbarian group that when they invaded Europe it government and it became king of the franks. And the Franks were part of Roman province of Gaul.

The fall of the Roman empire
