Where captured by the Neo-Assyrian monarches. The Northern kingdom, Israel, and Judah where taken over. Jurusalem was besieged but not taken, and the Southern Kingdom was not taken. Tiglath-Pileser and Shalmaneser V were responsible for taken over Israel. -

Assyria regains independence from Mittani. The people controled trade at a strategic distribution pont. They had to pay tribute to Mitanni. After rebelling and the colapse of the Mitanni Empire they were finally free. -

Was between the Assyrians and the Hitties for the former empire of Mitanni.It was split up in territories between allies. It took place in Nihriya and the Assyrians won. The battle was 5 years. -

Was made out of animal skin like calfskin, sheepskin, and goatskin. It was used for making notes, or a book. Made a more sutiable way of writing. Scholars also used it for teaching. -

Reign of King Sargon the second of Assyria. Came after Shalmanser V, he was middle aged, and was beset with wide-spread rebellions. He ruled for 17 years (722-705 BC). He reffered ot himself as a new man. -
