    Hammurabi becomes ruler of the Amorites and he created a code for which the empire to abide by.
  • Amorites take Mesopotamia.

    As soon as the city-states stopped fighting the Amorites rolled in defeated the cit-states and established their capital Babylon.

    Briefly, a time of peace comes while the city-states were weakened.
  • Sargons dynasty falls apart

    The union of the city-states falls apart do to corruption and turmoil in the goverment. The city-states return to their original forms.

    One of the city-states proceeded to defeat and the rest of the city states under a man named Sargon.

    Some wartime leaders started toppling the current goverment and leaving the thrown to their son to continue their legacies.

    Sumerians begin constructing cities which will soon each function as independent states.
  • City-states go to war against each other

    Soon after the city-states are created they start attacking each other, and because of this wartime leaders are created.
  • Sumerians arrive

    Sumerians arrive at the fertile crescent and begin to settle there.The fertile crescent is optimal farm land.They were the first large group of people to arrive there.
